One of the great thrills of this summer!!! Performing at the Sugar Bar NY. Last time I was in New York was 30 years ago when I did a tour with a Danish Soul band. On that occasion I sang at a souljam at Cafe Wah, wich was such an experience, that I knew I had to pursue a music career. Now 30 years Later my wife persuaded me to go on stage at the Sugar Bar open mic, and I had the honour of having Valerie Simpson from the famous songwriter duo Ashford & Simpson join in on background vocals.
